  1. These are all great choices. Being a Padre fan, my favorite card (that I've seen) from '73 Topps would be #542 Pat Corrales. Probably not a universal favorite, but one that might garner a few votes if it was a Top 10 or 15 list, instead of a Top 5.

  2. Willie Mays' final base card. Yes, he appeared in the '74 World Series subset, but didn't have a base card.

This set probably featured the largest collection of bad airbrush jobs of any Topps set. Which is why I might also pick the Tommie Agee card where all the Mets are airbrushed into Astro unis. Funny stuff.

  3. Two words: Luis Alvarado. Every other card in this set pales to Luis Alvarado.

  4. Great to have a picture of Kaat batting in 1973 when the DH started. He didn't bat at all in 1973 but he did get up to the plate once in 1974.

If you want to nominate cards that you don't see on any of the posts, feel free to include them here. Up to five cards (there has to be a limit) will be added to the existing five cards when it comes time to vote.

By then, the comments will be closed for nominations, and it will be time to put everything to a vote.
